Orphans of the Storm, a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Armstrong County, was founded in 1969 to provide temporary shelter for unwanted and abused animals. We match lovable animals with loving forever homes, educate the public on humane, responsible pet care, and promote spaying/neutering to reduce companion animal overpopulation. As a no-kill shelter, we only euthanize animals that are suffering with no hope of a cure or pose a danger to others. We are licensed in the state of Pennsylvania #PA 1137.
Join us in creating a brighter future for animals and their people.

Orphan Spotlight

Spike

Age: 3
Breed: Pitbull Mix

Spike loves his belly rubbed, loves attention and being with his family. Is good around most other dogs. Unsure about cats. Sadly, his owner abandoned him when she moved with a note and bag of food. He wants nothing more than to sit with his head on your lap and get attention.
